1. Early Magazine Covers
Early Magazine Covers had a lot of words with a few drawings or art. They had table of contents or a way to get through the magazine with no problem. It was to catch attention of what a the magazine had inside and to show a clearer version of what it said in the cover and make it to make people buy it.
2. The Poster Covers
Poster covers are completely covered well in a picture, to make it seem like a poster. This brings attention to a reader of what's gonna be inside the magazine. This is a complete opposite of what early magazine covers were.
3. Pictures Married To Type
These pictures are posted on a magazine cover and define what a magazine is going to have and what's inside. The magazine cover tries to have half pictures and half words in a perfect relationship to "marry" each other.
4. In The Forest Of Words
The
type of magazine cover tries to draw you in with a picture and then
drown you in words. It consist of a picture that grabs your attention
and then give you lots of huge words to grab your attention even more.
