Unusual and Interesting Photos Part 1 & 2

Part 1

1. The reaction to this work is that they look confusing but cool at the same time.
2. I think he used Photoshop to move around the building around the picture.
3. Like the first one that is the Eiffel Tower, and the 13th one is the London Clock, those are the buildings I am familiar with. The Eiffel Tower is located in Paris, France and of course Big Ben Clock is in London, Europe. We wouldn't get easy access to them because we would have to travel half the world to get there and take the pictures.

1. I picked this photo because the face matches up with the person reading it and caught my attention.

2. I found this photo in the Smaller Markets section.

3. It won 1st place.

4. What attracted to me about this photo is the black and white and the book, because it aligns with the person reading it and seems like the person is enjoying the book.

5. I think the judges chose this picture as number one because it has the good quality and the description about what the boy was doing and how it goes with the face. 

6. All what the photographer did was just take the picture and make sure it came out good.

1. I chose this photo because I like how the color came out.

2. The category was Sports Action.

3. The picture got 1st place.

4. What attracted my eye was the basketball players because I love basketball and the sky in the background it has good color.

5. I think this photo was in 1st place because of the many features it had in this picture like the sharpness and the exposure of the light and how the basketball player reaching for the hoop.

6. What the photographer did is probably get on the ground and focus the camera and waited for the basketball player to get in a good position to take a good picture like this.

1. I picked this picture because the little dress caught my attention and I liked the description of it.

2. The category was Local Portrait and Personality.

3. This picture got 4th place.

4. This picture caught my eye because of the the little purple tutu and the plastic foot/leg. 

5. I think this picture got 4th place because it didn't really show much but yet it has a story by showing the little toddler and the plastic foot/leg.

6. The photographer probably just took the picture from the waist and below of the child to show what the kid can do and stand on the railing. 

1. I picked this photo because of the couple being all cute in the middle of the road. 

2. Category was Domestic News.

3. This photo got 1st place.

4. What the picture caught my attention was the police officers and the couple kissing and how they are in the ground while the bad stuff is happening in the background.

5. The judges chose this picture 1st place was maybe because of the story and how someone can show love no matter what is happening to them behind them.

6. What the photographer did was get behind the police and take a good shot of the couple at a good moment.

1. I like how the this picture came out and that is why I chose this picture.

2. The category for this picture was News Portrait and Personality.

3. The place it got was 2nd.

4. The picture caught my attention because of the light in the background and the pearl necklace with the american flag pin and the lady smiling.

5. I think maybe because the judges chose this as a 2nd place was maybe because of the quality and the color of the picture.

6. The photographer probably took this picture while she was walking maybe to talk to someone about politics or something else and took advantage to take a beautiful picture like this one.
